Following the weather alert, a precautionary closure has been ordered for September 19th and 20th of educational services, schools of all levels (including universities and institutions of higher artistic and musical education), vocational training centers, recreational and youth centers, libraries, museums and monuments, day centers for the elderly and disabled, socio-occupational centers for the disabled, sports facilities, and markets.
Cemeteries, parks, gardens and pine forests are already closed. It is forbidden to access river areas, beaches and breakwaters. Fairs and public events are suspended.
UPDATE FOR FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th
Following improved weather conditions in the area, the Municipality of Ravenna has arranged for the immediate reopening of sports facilities, parks, public gardens, pine forests and cemeteries as early as today, Friday, September 20th.
Instead, libraries and museums will be open from tomorrow, Saturday, September 21st.
