On 24th and 25th October in Ravenna Adriatic Sea Forum – Cruise, Ferry, Sail & Yacht

On Thursday October 24th and Friday October 25th, Ravenna becomes the capital of seaborne tourism in the Adriatic Sea with Adriatic Sea Forum – Cruise, Ferry, Sail & Yacht.

More than 40 speakers representing not only the seven countries bordering the two shores of the Adriatic Sea (Italy, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece and Montenegro), but also other nations such as France and Germany interested in learning about trends in seaborne tourism in an area with more than 150 tourist destinations in 25 regions, will take part in the numerous discussions.

The forum’s program will open, as tradition, with the presentation of the new edition of Adriatic Sea Tourism Report, the research report edited by Risposte Turismo that has been analyzing the flows, size, nature and directions of tourism movements by sea in the Adriatic for more than ten years.

The forum will continue with numerous moments of comparison and discussion dedicated to issues central to the present and future of sea tourism in the area, from the use of alternative fuels for greater sustainability of sea traffic, to the evolution of cruise tourism in the area; from the impact of public policies and initiatives on sea tourism in the Adriatic, to the possibility of extending the tourist season beyond the summer; to new itineraries and destinations for boating.
