Ravenna: a city, one hundred parks

City of mosaic and city on the sea, Ravenna is also a city with many green areas. The municipality, with over one hundred parks, is one of the widest and most luxuriant in Italy.

There are so many city parks where you can enjoy some time in the open air, surrounded by nature: the Giardini Pubblici in the liberty style; the Park of Theodoric, an ideal place for running and walking; the little open air parlour of the Rasponi Garden; the monumental Parco della Pace, embellished with modern mosaics. Not to forget the racetrack (Ippodromo), the Brancaleone Fortress and the recently opened Parco Baronio.
