The little and quiet town of PORTO CORSINI is located just north of Marina di Ravenna, from which it is separated by the Corsini canal – last part of the Darsena area and trait d’union between the city and the sea.

If you are keen on history, you should not miss Capanno Garibaldi, the place where Giuseppe Garibaldi found refuge as he was fleeing from the Austrians, or the Spinaroni Island, a patch of land in Pialassa della Baiona related to the liberation of Ravenna during World War II.
Along with the Oasis of Punte Alberete, this area is a realm of black-winged stilts, flamingos, avocets, and a privileged destination for birdwatching enthusiasts.

You just have to cross the Corsini canal on a ferry boat to get to the town of Marina di Ravenna, with its pubs and open-air restaurants, or have a walk towards the nearby Marina Romea.
