On Saturday 12th October, the lights in Ravenna turn on for NOTTE D’ORO. Guided tours, exhibitions, extraordinary evening openings of the monuments and much more will enliven the historical centre of the city with a wide programme of events.
This year, Notte d’Oro will be followed by a day full of special openings and guided tours to the historical palaces of Ravenna, on Sunday 13th October.
SATURDAY 12th OCTOBER
• GIUSEPPE GIACOBAZZI and iMASA

Time: 9 pm
The Italian comedian Giuseppe Giacobazzi on stage with his show “Del mio meglio” a collection of the best pieces of his 20-year career, which have become famous through tv and live shows. The main theme will be, as always, the everyday life, told with irony and comedy.
iMasa are Alessandro Basini and Andrea Dalla Giovanna, who have conquered the public in just a few months with their ability to remake famous songs. On stage, they are able to use more than 20 different musical instruments, from ukulele to nasal flute.

The inner cloister will be animated with a musical background that will accompany visitors.
A Hawk and a Hacksaw, from the USA, will perform a magical mix of Balcan sounds, Magyar dances, Klezmer tradition and Middle-East sounds.
Afterwards, a set by Armonika, including a hybrid dj set by Zoetrope and Lester Mann along with Freddy Amoruso‘s digital accordion and Mattia Dambrosio‘s guitar, everything accompanied by performances by Agnesoride and Chickpea.

Books have talked about this place since 1237, as it is an important example of industrial archaeology documenting the history of water in Ravenna. As a source of energy, it used the waters of the Molino channel, which derived from the Montone river and which connected it to the Ronco river.
