On the occasion of Notte Rosa in Ravenna 2024, on Friday 5th July, the TIGER DIXIE BAND will enliven the streets of the center of Ravenna with their ORIGINAL DIXIELAND SONGBOOK, a traveling musical journey through the times and places of traditional jazz.
The Tiger Dixie Band brings together valuable soloists from the Triveneto region, has a nearly 20-year history and is systematically dedicated to recovering the Jazz of the “roaring years,” offering it with an original and current interpretive approach.
The typical atmospheres of New Orleans and Chicago Style, Charleston and Ragtime, are respected in timbre and spirit (also due to the use of some original instruments of the time) but the sound is nevertheless filtered through the more modern musical experiences of the individual members of the Band.
