Se il capolavoro di Debussy inebria il pubblico, raccontando le esperienze di un fauno appena risvegliato e ancora sognante, la Terza Sinfonia di Prokof’ev si inserische con esplosioni aggressive, quasi selvatiche, descrivendo uno scontro acceso tra Eros e Morte nell’amore sofferto di un’umana per uno spirito iridescente. È Shéhérazade che, con i suoi racconti ci porta lontano, mitigando le passioni del suo sovrano uxoricida e restituendo la serenità.
On Friday, 26 June, on the stage of the Mauro de Andrè arena, the Orchestra from St. Petersburg directed by Valerij Gergiev will enchant us with fairytale music and strong passions.
While the masterpiece by Debussy inebriates the public, telling about the adventures of a faun at just awaken and still dreaming, to which follows the Prokof’ev’s Symphony no. 3, with aggressive explosions, almost savage blasts, describing a lively fight between Eros and Death, in a tormented love of a human for a spirit. It’s Sheherazade’s nocturnal tales that takes us far away, appeasing the sultan’s death wishing and regaining peace.
