As every year in autumn, Ravenna Festival presents the AUTUMN TRILOGY, from 12th to 16th November at the Dante Alighieri theatre.
This year’s edition is called L’invisibil fa vedere amore (Ludovico Ariosto, Orlando Furioso), which accompanies spectators in the discovery and rediscovery of the lyrical repertoire of the 17th and early 18th centuries, the “baroque”, with excellent performers and important directing signatures.
The dialogue between the refined direction of Pier Luigi Pizzi and the musical wisdom of Accademia Bizantina and Ottavio Dantone is renewed: this year’s absolute protagonist is Händel with two new productions of Orlando and Alcina, to which is added the performance of Messiah.
