On Saturday May 18th on the occasion of the EUROPEAN NIGHT OF MUSEUMS some monuments and museums will be open with extraordinary hours and dedicated events.
MAR – RAVENNA ART MUSEUM

On this special night, the public will be able to enjoy the ongoing exhibitions EXODUS – UMANITÀ IN CAMMINO by photographer Sebastião Salgado and Disegnare il Mosaico. I cartoni di Signorini, as well as the museum’s permanent collections and the new section dedicated to Contemporary Mosaic. The evening opening of the MAR will also give visitors the opportunity to see Edoardo Tresoldi‘s Sacral installation illuminated in the museum’s 16th-century cloister.
The visit will be accompanied by musical moments from Mozart to Beethoven, Bach to Prokofiev through Klezmer up to pop music. The evening is organized in collaboration with several primary and lower secondary schools and the “Giuseppe Verdi” State Conservatory of Ravenna.
