From 24th June to 23rd July 2023, Palazzo Rasponi dalle Teste hosts a preview of the 8th Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic of Ravenna with DIVENIRE MOSAICO, an exhibition dedicated to two of the most interesting artists of their generation: Takako Hirai and Sergio Policicchio.
Hirai is from Japan, Policicchio is from Argentina – very far away areas of the world that meet in Ravenna and find themselves next to each other in this special interpretation of mosaic, so poetic and delicate.
Their artistic intervention in the halls of the historical Palazzo Rasponi dalle Teste is completed by an original video realised by the two artists; a dialogue of images, notes and thoughts of twenty years of mosaic.
At the same time, Palazzo Rasponi dalle Teste also hosts Una dedica a Ravenna, an exhibition of Rupert Van Wyck, painter and illustrator born in Great Britain in 1971, now working and living in Ravenna.
