In the frame of the 8th Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic, from 7th October to 16th December, on display at Fondazione Sabe per l’Arte ANEMONI, curated by Irene Biolchini.
The project involves three artists of three different generations: Renata Boero (1936), Alessandro Roma (1976) and Valentina D’Accardi (1986), who, following their different creative approaches, reflect on nature, decorations and fragments.
The title of the exhibition, Anemoni, recalls the theme of the vegetation that characterises the mosaics of Ravenna and specifically these flowers, symbols of caducity and fragility.
The works on display create direct and indirect relationships with the tradition of mosaic on a material, technical and iconographic level.
