Little Museum of Dolls and Other Toys

via Fantuzzi, 4 - Ravenna

Piccolo Museo di Bambole e Altri Balocchi (Little Museum of Dolls and Other Toys) displays dolls and toys dating back to different eras (from 1860 to 1950). The collection includes dolls made of porcelain, cloth, celluloid and paper mâché, as well as tiny rooms, little shops and furnished kitchens, miniature dollhouses, stuffed toys, and rocking horses.

The museum is not only a journey into the past but rather an opportunity to observe how lifestyle and toys have changed over time. Some of the showcases in the museum are dedicated to the world of school with books, notebooks, pen shafts, pen-nibs, and ink bottles.
