The 16th edition of SPIAGGE SOUL is back on the beaches of Ravenna with its rhythms and emotions, collected all around Italy and the world.
From July 14th to Sptember 1st the coast of Ravenna is ready and proud to host a month full of concerts right by the sea.
Many names will be on the program, starting with American blues guitarist Chris Cain and soul singers Lakeetra Knowles, Ginga and Sara Zaccarelli, from Moroccan group Jedbalak to Malian musician Kalifa Kone, passing through the original Spanish ensemble Orquesta ReuSònica, which offers refined jazz, to Frenchman Sandro Joyeux, Italian Carlo Poddighe and Argentineans Del Barrio.
This is a particularly fresh and lively edition, which will feature new quality performances to enhance the live music scene, in addition to the focus on popular music of the world, always characterizing the festival.
A love for the sounds of New Orleans is confirmed, but also a wide variety of styles and genres, ranging from Blues to Funk, techno-tribal, Caribbean rock-punk to Reggae and all shades of African-American music.
Spiagge Soul is a festival organized by Associazione Culturale “Blues Eye” with the artistic direction of Francesco Plazzi, the support of the Municipality of Ravenna, the Emilia-Romagna Region, Apt Service and Romagna Acque, in addition to the precious contribution of private workers.
