From 18 to 31 July, the Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy welcomes you at the Dante Alighieri Theatre in Ravenna and invites you to discover ‘Cavalleria rusticana‘, the grand opera by Pietro Mascagni, and the opera in two acts by Ruggero Leoncavallo ‘Pagliacci‘
For Maestro Riccardo Muti, the Italian Opera Academy is an important project that teaches young talented musicians from all over the world the art of Opera, imparting his experience in this extraordinary world.
From the presentation at the piano on Saturday 18 July, to the rehearsals with orchestra and singers from 19 to 27, up to the final performance on 29 and 31 July, directed respectively by Muti himself and his students, Cavalleria rusticana and Pagliacci, will be the subject of a two-week long intensive and careful study.
