From 6th December 2024 to 26th January 2025 the noble spaces of Palazzo Rasponi dalle Teste in Ravenna will host the art exhibition 1955-1965. ILMONDO NUOVO A RAVENNA. SGUARDI DALLA COLLEZIONE D’ARTE GHIGI-PAGNANI.
The entire archives of the two enlightened collectors, Roberto Pagnani and his wife Raffaella Ghigi, are presented in synthesis in this exhibition – in addition to relevant paintings of informal art by celebrated artists such as Appel, Moreni, Mathieu and Vedova, there are also works by painters such as Marc Tobey, Gorky, Daniel Pommereulle, Sergio Vacchi, Phillip Martin and Bernard Quentin, and some works by Gianni Dova, including La sagra della primavera, which Michelangelo Antonioni decided to include in the film Il Deserto Rosso (1964 ).
On show, alongside numerous documents and films from the period, is a precious photographic repertoire with original shots taken by Pagnani himself.
During the exhibition period, public meetings dedicated to cultural issues related to the initiative and guided tours of the Villa Ghigi-Pagnani and the exhibition rooms are planned.
