From 1st July to 30th September, every Saturday, a guided tour to the MAR – Ravenna Art Museum to the discovery of the new rearrangement of the collection of CONTEMPORARY MOSAICS, inaugurated last May.
A tour retracing how the mosaic technique developed from the 1920s to today.
A pivotal moment in the renovation of mosaic art was the Exhibition of Modern Mosaics inaugurated in 1959. The works exhibited in this occasion represent the core of the collection, on which the whole project was developed.
